Stephanie Bonner ...I am a New Zealand qualified small animal veterinarian. During my career I have worked in New Zealand, Australia and England. I first saw a pet prosthetic while at a conference in Canada in 2008. I was amazed at how they were helping our furry patients and have been interested in rehabilitation ever since.
In 2014, I completed my post-graduate training and have the qualification of Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) in the U.S. I actively continue my education in this exciting field of veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation. This includes completing the Western Acupuncture foundation course with Dr Sam Lindley, Sports medicine with Dr Chris Zink and the Australian veterinary conference in 2016 featuring Dr Darryl Millis as a keynote speaker. Dr Darryl Millis is a renowned leader in Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports medicine. I was also fortunate enough to visit Fitzpatrick’s referral rehabilitation centre in the UK where they create the TV series - UK Bionic vet and the STAAR symposium in 2017 and 2019. During Covid we welcomed our first child into the family and made the difficult decision to close Red Dog Rehabilitation consults. I look forward to helping you and your pet regain mobility with our products available online. Stephanie Bonner (BVSc, CCRT, PGCertSci) |
