Assisi Loop - tPEMF

Sciatic Nerve Toe-Up Sling
The toe-up sling is a boot and sling device used on patients that are dragging their hind toes for a variety of reasons.  It assists tarsal flexion (bends the ankle) to lift the toes and makes it easier to walk. Patient's can start dragging their toes because of degenerative myelopathy, spinal trauma, intervertebral disc disease, neoplasia and fibrocartilagenous embolus (FCE). The boots also provide tactile stimulation and proper paw alignment to the ground.  It also increases nerve feedback to help with balance awareness with the foot in the correct position.

​Dogleggs Shoulder Stabilisation

​The DogLeggs' Shoulder Stabilization System prevents abduction of the forelimbs and limits shoulder extension and flexion. The limited extension results in a mildly shortened gait when walking. The DogLeggs' Shoulder Stabilization System can replace the use of the Velpeau sling in certain situations, reducing muscle atrophy and morbidity to the forelimb joints while allowing ongoing rehabilitation therapy. It can be worn continuously for several months with no to minimal irritation.
The system is comprised of Standard or Full Length Adjustable DogLeggs and forelimb hobble straps. Full Length Adjustable DogLeggs are used as the platform for the forelimb hobble straps in dogs with a measurement from the point of the elbow to the floor of 6 inches or less and for dogs with swimmer puppy syndrome.

Specifications:
The Standard Length Adjustable DogLeggs are constructed from 3-dimensional fleece-faced, highly breathable, 4-way stretch textile with wicking properties.  This material allows air to circulate while keeping the joint warm. The elbow cuffs contain 7 mm of padding, sufficient for even giant breed dogs.  VELCRO® Brand fasteners are used for adjustment and attachments.

DogLeggs Velpeau Sling
The Velpeau Sling offers a superior alternative to traditional bandaging. It eliminates the trauma to the skin and rehabilitation therapy can be performed with ease throughout recovery.  The Velpeau Sling is easy to apply.  The closure is along the animal's back and can be adjusted to allow for a comfortable fit. It maintains the shoulder in a neutral position with the elbow flexed.

​Specifications:
The Velpeau Sling is constructed of a lightweight material that is VELCRO® Brand fastener compatible. The material is highly breathable and has wicking properties. It closes with VELCRO® Brand fasteners along the back. The material does not pull at the fur and is impregnated with a natural fiber that reduces odor and inhibits bacterial and fungal growth within the product. The product is machine washable.

​Hobbles Vest
The Hobbles Vest is worn to prevent your dog’s shoulder from swinging out away from the body (abduction).  This is needed when your dog has been diagnosed with a medial shoulder instability (MSI). During a dog’s day-to-day activities they run in circles or move side-to-side, this puts pressure through the inside of the shoulder, which is exactly where you need to rest and protect for a MSI injury to heal. The hobbles protect this area from daily stress and further injury, allowing healing to take place.
