Tarso-Flex - X supports, protects, and helps to offload injured or painful tarsal joints. They are ideal for dogs with mild-moderate hyperextension, weakness, sprains, strains, or deviations.
Considering adding a thermoplastic splint over the Tarso-Flex-X?
Please email us about it before ordering as we may need to change strap placement and/or type to accommodate the splint placement. This will incur additional fees, but we can discuss that when we know your requirements.
If you feel the pet requires greater support or immobilization, we suggest considering having a Custom Tarsal Support made (see later in this page).

When do I consider a Tarso-Flex-X?
A: Cranial height, from tarsal joint to below tibial crest.
B: Cranial height, dorsal paw to tarsal joint.
C: Circumference at tarsal joint.
Extra-Small and Extra-Large are not currently held in stock, but can be ordered upon request. Splinting material is additional if needed.

What is the goal for this device?
Thera-Paw provides custom braces and supports that are made of soft materials (e.g. neoprene & sheepskin). Stability and immobilization can be achieved by adding nylon support straps or thermoplastic splints.

We work with Orthopets USA but there are several other Prosthetic and Orthotic companies in the US that provide this service also.
We are happy to refund or exchange items that have been unused and are fit for resale. The items must be returned with their instructions and within their original packaging undamaged, with no changes made.
We are unable to return any damaged, altered, worn or custom made/altered products.

Please complete our refund form and place it with the item being returned. We recommend tracking all items when returning them in the post in case they are lost in transit.
